Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experiential marketing or live event production experience.
  • Proven ability to own projects end-to-end, from kickoff through reconciliation, independently.
  • Experience managing budgets of $500K or more and carrying 3+ concurrent projects.
  • Experience managing fabrication shops, independently reading and specifying drawings, and driving quality control on custom builds.
  • Direct permitting experience across multiple markets, including COI requirements, fire marshal processes, and market-specific compliance.
  • Hands-on experience specifying and managing power, rigging, AV, and lighting.
  • Ability to independently manage logistics, including load-ins, site surveys, and crew.
  • Experience leading coordinators, PAs, and crew and holding them accountable for their work.
  • Strong budget management skills, including estimating, real-time tracking, reconciliation, and vendor negotiation.
  • Comfort managing client relationships independently onsite and during pre-production.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, Asana or similar tools, and Slack.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to solve problems under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Lead assigned projects from post-kickoff through final closeout, managing each phase of production.
  • Serve as the primary production contact and coordinate across Accounts, Strategy, Client Development, Design, and Operations.
  • Own fabrication decisions, manage fabrication shops, interpret drawings, and oversee quality control.
  • Pull and manage permits across multiple markets and ensure vendor insurance documentation is complete.
  • Plan and run load-ins and strikes, coordinate freight and labor, and conduct site surveys.
  • Specify and manage power, rigging, AV, lighting, and interactive or digital production requirements.
  • Own project budgets from initial estimates through reconciliation, maintaining margins and submitting change orders.
  • Manage client relationships, expectations, status updates, and onsite communication.
  • Source, manage, and coordinate third-party vendors and communicate project risks and recommended solutions.
