Requirements
- Have proven Australian bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Have strong working knowledge of MYOB and Xero.
- Have previous system migration experience.
- Have experience using Jet Convert and/or MMC Convert; these tools are highly preferred.
- Understand BAS, GST, PAYG, and Australian compliance.
- Have experience with inventory-based businesses and high SKU volumes.
- Have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Demonstrate high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Be able to work independently and communicate with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the end-to-end MYOB-to-Xero migration.
- Use migration tools such as Jet Convert and MMC Convert.
- Clean, validate, and transfer accounting data.
- Set up and structure 4,000+ inventory SKUs in Xero.
- Review pricing, tax codes, stock data, and inventory records.
- Reconcile accounts before and after migration.
- Manage supplier, customer, invoice, and purchase records.
- Support BAS preparation, GST coding, and compliance checks.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, duplicates, and data inconsistencies.
- Provide post-migration bookkeeping and system support.
