Requirements
- Demonstrated success in full-cycle sales, from net-new acquisition to customer expansion, across SMB to enterprise SaaS.
- Experience selling into an industry vertical or ability to build vertical fluency quickly.
- Comfort building processes and playbooks in an ambiguous environment.
- Strong discovery and qualification skills.
- Experience with MEDDPICC or a similar sales methodology.
- Experience with analytics, data, or technical products.
- Ability to conduct credible technical discovery and engage with technical buyers.
- Clear, direct communication with business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to turn field learnings into repeatable playbooks.
- Advanced familiarity with SFDC and forecasting tools is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Source, qualify, and close net-new enterprise customers and new business units or subsidiaries within assigned verticals.
- Drive expansion with Renewal Managers and Customer Value Managers.
- Run full-cycle enterprise sales from first meeting to close, using MEDDPICC or Mixpanel's chosen methodology to qualify and manage deals.
- Forecast accurately, surface risks early, and keep SFDC pipeline and forecast data current.
- Develop vertical expertise in buyer personas, use cases, discovery questions, messaging, and competitive positioning.
- Refine vertical playbooks using field learnings, including messaging, discovery questions, competitive intelligence, and deal patterns.
- Conduct technical discovery about prospects' data, analytics maturity, and existing tools.
- Partner with Sales Engineering on demos and technical validation tailored to vertical use cases.
- Work with Marketing, Product Marketing, and Enablement on vertical messaging, campaigns, training, and onboarding.
