Requirements
- Have 3–5 years of professional experience in full stack software development, preferably in SaaS or enterprise environments.
- Have strong experience with modern JavaScript technologies, particularly React and TypeScript.
- Have backend development experience using Node.js or Python.
- Understand RESTful services, API design, relational databases, and modern software development practices.
- Demonstrate the ability to develop scalable, maintainable, secure, and well-tested software.
- Have experience working in fast-paced startup environments and agile, collaborative engineering teams.
- Be comfortable working remotely in a distributed, async-first environment and managing responsibilities independently.
- Bring analytical and problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach across engineering, product, design, and QA.
- Experience with Next.js, Express, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD workflows is valuable.
- Nice-to-have experience includes HRIS, global payroll, workforce management, compliance-focused platforms, OAuth, SSO, internationalization, role-based access control, GDPR, or AI-enabled SaaS products.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain core platform features across frontend and backend systems.
- Contribute to technical decisions involving architecture, scalability, performance, security, reliability, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver user experiences.
- Build clean, reusable, maintainable, secure, and testable code, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, standups, and other agile engineering activities.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across the application stack.
- Optimize application performance and contribute to automation, usability, developer experience, and engineering workflow improvements.
- Support development of scalable systems and platform capabilities for a global user base.
