Requirements
- Bring 12 years or more of experience.
- Have proven experience developing thought leadership, editorial content or insight-led communications in consulting, research, customer experience, retail or luxury.
- Demonstrate excellent English writing and editing skills with a portfolio of original, well-argued, evidence-led articles or publications written personally.
- Show strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to assess sources critically, connect market signals and form a clear point of view.
- Have sound knowledge of luxury, retail and customer experience, and curiosity about how these sectors evolve across markets.
- Be able to interview senior experts, challenge ideas constructively and turn specialist knowledge into accessible, credible content.
- Be comfortable working independently in a remote setting, managing an editorial roadmap and delivering finished work.
- Have experience managing or coaching at least one team member.
- Experience preparing and hosting interviews or podcasts is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Define the thought leadership strategy and roadmap, including priority themes, audiences, formats and a publication calendar.
- Research, interview internal experts, write and edit articles, perspectives and other thought leadership content.
- Use market intelligence, proprietary data, internal expertise and client-facing insights to develop CXG’s point of view.
- Coordinate content creation across Practices, Solutions and Regions, and work with Marketing on publication and distribution.
- Track the reach, engagement and qualitative response to thought leadership and use findings to refine the roadmap.
- Shape and host or contribute to CXG’s podcast, and develop content and key messages for events, conferences, panels and talks.
- Monitor market, client and competitor developments and translate findings into implications for CXG’s priorities and client conversations.
- Publish the weekly “This Week in Luxury” news brief and timely updates on significant developments.
- Manage and develop the Market Intelligence team member, setting priorities and reviewing work.
