Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years in technical support, systems administration, cloud operations, implementation, or a similar enterprise role.
- Cybersecurity background, including threat detection, vulnerability management, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or GDPR.
- Strong Linux administration experience in production, including configuration, performance tuning, hardening, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on Docker and containerization experience, including deployment and management in Kubernetes or similar orchestrated environments.
- Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Networking knowledge covering TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers; familiarity with Wireshark and tcpdump.
- Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation, diagnostics, and workflow support.
- Experience with identity management, including RBAC, SSO using OAuth or SAML, and Active Directory or LDAP.
- Basic database literacy, including relational and schemaless stores, schemas, querying, and light administration.
- Ability to lead customer-facing technical engagements to a 30-day finish line with minimal supervision.
- Preferred: experience troubleshooting REST APIs, Datadog, managed databases such as Amazon RDS, and coding in Python, JavaScript, or Go.
Responsibilities
- Lead customer and internal account-team kickoff meetings; confirm scope, environments, owners, identity and access paths, compliance constraints, and go-live criteria.
- Manage the 30-day onboarding plan and track blockers such as credentials, firewall changes, identity-provider claims, and change windows.
- Provide deployment and optimization guidance and ensure production deployment meets the customer’s initial testing goals.
- Diagnose and resolve implementation failures across cloud infrastructure, networking, and security.
- Perform root-cause analysis on first-time integration and deployment issues.
- Configure, tune, harden, and troubleshoot Linux production environments.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads with Docker and orchestrated environments such as Kubernetes.
- Provision and troubleshoot pentest configurations in AWS, Azure, or GCP; address network issues involving TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
- Configure and validate identity paths, including RBAC, SSO, and directory services, and scope and configure initial NodeZero tests.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Engineering, Product, and Sales; contribute product feedback, mentor junior engineers, and assist with support cases as needed.
