Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud services, technical delivery, professional services operations, or related leadership.
- Direct experience leading cloud services delivery teams or organizations.
- Experience establishing delivery standards and improving operational performance across a cloud services portfolio.
- Experience managing utilization, margins, capacity, delivery timelines, quality, and client satisfaction metrics.
- Deep understanding of cloud services delivery and engineering practices across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Leadership experience with cloud engineering, security engineering, consulting, or managed services delivery teams.
- Knowledge of engineering operations, technical delivery oversight, and governance.
- Ability to manage schedules and risks and drive on-time, high-quality client outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including using operational metrics to identify trends and take corrective action.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, ITIL, or related disciplines are preferred.
- Familiarity with ITIL, cloud governance, service management or architecture frameworks, Agile delivery practices, project management tools, or delivery governance is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Establish and monitor Cloud Services delivery standards for scope, quality, timelines, documentation, risk management, and client communication.
- Track engagement schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, resourcing, and operational metrics, and drive corrective action when needed.
- Lead high-priority delivery and client escalations, working with clients and delivery teams to resolve issues and protect outcomes.
- Oversee engineering quality, technical readiness, design and implementation quality, and adoption of approved engineering standards.
- Partner with Sales and pre-sales teams to assess delivery feasibility, shape approaches, and validate technical content in SOWs, Change Orders, and Contracts.
- Govern scalable operating processes, playbooks, and delivery practices across Cloud Services engagements.
- Lead and coach delivery leaders and consultants, supporting accountability, staffing, onboarding, training, and professional development.
- Coordinate with Delivery Operations, Resource Management, PMO, and Offering Management on capacity, staffing, delivery readiness, and service requirements.
- Establish KPIs and provide executive-level briefings on customer success, delivery quality, operational performance, risks, and mitigations.
