- 2+ years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field or 5+ years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree
Requirements
- Have native or near-native proficiency in Malay and an excellent command of English.
- Have at least 2 years of professional translation experience and a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field, or at least 5 years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree.
- Demonstrate English-to-Malay translation experience across informational, marketing, UI, product, and support content.
- Have experience using CAT tools.
- Show attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality translations while meeting deadlines.
- Be responsive, reliable, open to feedback and revisions, and able to communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Translate content from English to Malay.
- Copy-edit Malay content.
- Perform machine translation post-editing (MTPE).
- Work on marketing, UI, product, support, informational, and legal content.
- Use the client-specific CAT tool for project work.
