Requirements
- Have 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Have hands-on experience with medical imaging, PACS, and the DICOM standard.
- Have strong skills in a modern object-oriented language such as C#/.NET or C++.
- Have experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Understand networking and client/server architecture.
- Bring problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote team.
- Experience with HL7 or healthcare integrations is an asset.
- Experience with AWS or Azure and image storage at scale is an asset.
- Experience with 3D rendering or advanced image viewers is an asset.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain features across the Keystone PACS platform.
- Work with DICOM data and imaging workflows, including storage, transfer, viewing, and reporting.
- Build and support integrations with imaging modalities and practice management systems.
- Design services focused on high availability, scalability, performance, and observability.
- Take end-to-end ownership of the quality, testing, and production readiness of deliverables.
- Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code and design reviews.
- Build prototypes and proofs of concept to evaluate new technologies.
- Work with the Support team to identify and fix performance, scalability, and production issues.
- Collaborate with Product and Support to translate client needs into solutions.
