Requirements
- Have 4+ years of BI, analytics, or data visualization development experience.
- Have 2+ years of hands-on Apache Superset experience in production environments.
- Demonstrate strong SQL skills, including window functions, CTEs, and query optimization.
- Have experience with Databricks, Spark SQL, or similar lakehouse platforms.
- Be proficient with Git workflows and collaborative development.
- Preferred: Superset deployment or operations experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, or Celery.
- Preferred: Power BI fluency for migration of existing dashboards.
- Preferred: Python proficiency for extending Superset APIs and integrations.
- Preferred: Jinja templating expertise in Superset contexts.
Responsibilities
- Migrate Power BI dashboards to Superset and improve dashboard load performance.
- Build a parameterized chart library that developers can reuse via Superset's API.
- Optimize the Superset and Databricks integration, including caching, semantic layers, and Delta Lake query patterns.
- Define dashboarding standards and Jinja templates for consistent, scalable development.
- Collaborate across teams to turn business questions into dashboards for enterprise clients.
