Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in strategic pricing, revenue management, or a closely related analytical function.
  • Marketplace or logistics experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to build models and uncover insights.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Domo, Tableau, Looker, or comparable platforms.
  • Strong understanding of pricing analysis, profitability, customer behavior, and performance measurement.
  • Ability to simplify complex analytical findings for cross-functional stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Ability to investigate performance drivers and translate findings into practical recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop lane-level transportation profitability insights and dynamic pricing models aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Analyze how pricing changes affect buyer behavior and transportation usage across customer segments, business units, and geographic territories.
  • Develop models and recommendations to increase transportation attach rates while maintaining targeted profitability.
  • Analyze transportation margins, carrier costs, seasonality, surcharges, and other pricing factors to identify revenue and margin opportunities.
  • Monitor carrier and competitor pricing, market conditions, seasonal trends, and external factors.
  • Track transportation attach rate, margins, costs per mile, and other revenue management metrics.
  • Identify revenue leakage, financial risks, and growth opportunities through performance analysis.
  • Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests, pilots, and other experiments for pricing structures and models.
  • Translate analytical findings into recommendations for cross-functional partners and senior leadership.
  • Adapt pricing strategies and analytical approaches based on market changes, business performance, and customer feedback.
