Requirements
- Have 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong background in frontend engineering and production product development.
- Bring hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and related build, testing, and deployment tooling.
- Have hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex, or comparable technologies.
- Understand the capabilities, limitations, and broader adoption potential of AI-assisted development tools.
- Have experience building tools, systems, or infrastructure adopted by engineers or other internal users.
- Consider onboarding, documentation, usability, and feedback loops when building internal tools.
- Reason about developer tooling, engineering workflows, infrastructure, and platform-level systems beyond individual features.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and translate experimentation into practical recommendations and scalable solutions.
- Work effectively with designers, product managers, Developer Experience, Frontend Infrastructure, and engineering partners.
- Apply ownership, systems thinking, and communication skills to a greenfield initiative.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI-assisted workflows connecting design tools, prototypes, and production frontend code.
- Partner with Product Design to develop patterns, components, and workflows for translating design work into production software.
- Evolve the design system with machine-readable documentation, component metadata, and prototyping integrations.
- Collaborate with Developer Experience on AI agents and tooling foundations, and with Frontend Infrastructure on the web platform.
- Build infrastructure and workflows that take product teams from early concepts through prototyping and production.
- Engage engineers and designers through office hours, feedback collection, and prioritization of improvements.
- Research, prototype, and evaluate emerging AI development tools and recommend technologies for adoption.
- Contribute to a greenfield design-to-code platform and define its engineering approaches and workflows.
