5-7+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating Senior-level scope and impact.
Significant experience building and maintaining production SaaS or web applications.
Strong experience with Java and modern server-side application development.
Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript and modern web application development.
Strong experience designing and working with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including designing and working with data-intensive applications.
Experience developing and operating applications in cloud environments.
Strong understanding of application architecture, software design, testing, performance, scalability, security, and data protection.
Experience with Git and modern software development practices.

Design, build, test, and maintain scalable applications, services, and APIs.
Own complex technical projects from design and architecture through implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
Contribute to the architecture and technical direction of our SaaS platform.
Collaborate with Engineering and Product to translate business and product needs into effective technical solutions.
Design and build reusable services, components, and patterns that improve the broader codebase.
Identify and address performance, scalability, reliability, and security challenges.
Work across front-end, back-end, and service layers as needed to solve complex problems.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive solutions to their root cause.
