- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of experience selling electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electro-hydraulic valve automation solutions.
- Ability to develop customer and channel relationships and identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Understanding of pricing, quotations, negotiations, forecasting, pipeline management, and opportunity development.
- Ability to translate customer and stakeholder technical needs into commercially viable solutions.
- Ability to monitor industry and competitive trends and provide timely market insights to internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with customers, channel partners, distributors, representatives, and internal teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% throughout the assigned territory.
- Five or more years of valve automation sales experience preferred.
- Experience promoting actuators to EPCs, OEMs, and channel partners preferred.
- Existing relationships in refining, petrochemical, chemical, LNG, power, midstream, or general industrial markets are advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Drive regional sales, order booking, profitability, and market share growth through customer and channel engagement.
- Develop and execute strategies for pricing, quotations, contract negotiations, and commercial risk management.
- Manage manufacturer representatives, distributors, valve automation partners, and service providers.
- Set measurable channel partner objectives for growth, forecasting, pipeline, specification wins, and opportunity conversion.
- Build customer and partner relationships, identify opportunities, develop pursuit strategies, influence specifications, and close complex opportunities.
- Identify installed-base opportunities for actuator replacements, modernization, retrofits, shutdowns, turnarounds, and lifecycle services.
- Maintain accurate CRM information on specifications, pursuits, quotations, competitive opportunities, installed-base initiatives, and orders.
- Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and identify risks and opportunities affecting bookings and conversion.
- Monitor customer needs, market trends, regulatory developments, competition, and technology advancements; share insights internally.
- Deliver customer presentations, technical workshops, demonstrations, factory visits, startups, and industry events throughout the territory.
