Requirements
- Have 6–8 years of professional Product Management experience.
- Have at least 1 year of experience managing and developing a product team.
- Be familiar with Hierarchical Condition Category (HCC) coding methodologies and Risk Adjustment Factor (RAF) score calculations in Medicare Advantage.
- Understand the software product development lifecycle and have experience managing Scrum processes.
- Demonstrate experience working directly with clients, managing escalations, and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bring analytical ability, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate ambiguous or complex problem spaces.
- Use business judgment to evaluate product decisions against broader business objectives.
- Have working knowledge of SQL and JIRA.
- Have experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders with minimal managerial oversight.
- Be able to work remotely and independently while collaborating across distributed teams.
- Preferred: experience developing data-heavy front-end analytics applications or healthcare revenue, RAF analytics, or revenue cycle management products.
- A plus: familiarity with X12 837/834 EDI standards; startup or high-growth environment experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Own the product line’s day-to-day operations, strategic direction, feature development, roadmap planning, and overall success.
- Lead product discovery and delivery by investigating technical questions, using AI to understand codebases, facilitating client discovery sessions, and developing product requirements documents.
- Evaluate product opportunities and provide build-versus-buy recommendations.
- Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to plan releases, coordinate application changes, and launch features.
- Communicate product updates and identify dependencies or impacts across related products.
- Manage client relationships and escalations, ensuring issues are understood, communicated, and resolved.
- Develop monthly, pod-level quarterly, and product-level roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
- Guide stakeholders through product changes and coordinate feature launch activities.
- Lead and develop direct reports through clear expectations, regular feedback, and career development support.
- Balance customer needs, technical considerations, product opportunities, and organizational outcomes.
