Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 15+ years of relevant experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams in complex environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical and administrative personnel, including subordinate supervisors.
- Experience with hiring, performance evaluations, workforce planning, and people management.
- Experience directing complex programs and achieving client and organizational objectives.
- Experience managing contractual obligations, service-level commitments, delivery risks, and program performance.
- Ability to work directly with clients, align priorities, coordinate activities, and resolve complex issues.
- Experience with budgeting, cost control, financial analysis, and profitability management.
- Ability to manage priorities across technical, operational, financial, and business development areas.
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30% or more to client locations in Montgomery, Alabama, and Huntsville, Alabama.
- No current or obtainable security clearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end program delivery across technical and business functions, ensuring commitments related to scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance are achieved.
- Ensure the program team fulfills contractual obligations and service-level agreements while identifying, mitigating, and resolving delivery risks.
- Manage workforce planning and personnel assignments, including onboarding and offboarding resources.
- Serve as a primary communication point for client technical personnel, coordinating activities, negotiating tasks, and resolving issues.
- Lead and supervise technical and administrative personnel, including subordinate supervisors, and oversee hiring and performance management.
- Manage technical execution, financial performance, and business development across the program portfolio.
- Oversee the quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including reviews, audits, and site visits.
- Lead contract transition activities and coordinate with functional leads.
- Coordinate subcontractor deliverables, performance, and financial administration.
- Develop and review program plans, schedules, proposals, and other documentation; prepare program reports and updates for senior leadership.
