Have 8+ years of professional experience developing complex and scalable software products.
Have 5+ years of hands-on Ruby on Rails experience, focused on clean, maintainable, efficient code.
Have full-stack development experience, including JavaScript, CSS, and modern Rails frontend technologies such as Stimulus, Turbo, and Hotwire.
Have strong knowledge of Linux-based infrastructure and relational and analytical databases such as PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
Have experience integrating with external APIs.
Be able to translate complex epics or initiatives into milestones, actionable stories, and executable engineering plans.
Have experience collaborating in Agile environments, including pairing, code reviews, mentoring, and iterative delivery.
Be able to navigate complex technical challenges independently and make sound engineering decisions.
Use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and code quality while applying appropriate engineering judgment.
Have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
AWS cloud experience is preferred; experience with a Ruby on Rails monolith is a plus.
Familiarity or eagerness to work with Tailwind UI is helpful.

Own software projects from conception and engineering design through development, automated testing, deployment, and rollout.
Build secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions across frontend, backend, databases, and infrastructure.
Develop platform capabilities for authentication, onboarding and activation, notifications, APIs, and end-to-end user experiences.
Break down complex initiatives and epics into milestones and actionable user stories.
Maintain code quality, scalability, reliability, and maintainability through testing, code reviews, pairing, and sound engineering practices.
Contribute to technical solutions, architectural decisions, and engineering initiatives.
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver platform capabilities.
Mentor and coach engineers and provide actionable feedback.
Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve development velocity, system reliability, and engineering workflows.
