Requirements
- Have 8+ years of experience developing complex, scalable software products.
- Have 5+ years of expertise in Ruby on Rails, focused on maintainable, efficient code.
- Demonstrate full-stack development proficiency, including JavaScript and CSS.
- Have experience with modern Rails frontend frameworks: Stimulus, Turbo, and Hotwire.
- Have a strong background in Linux-based infrastructure.
- Have experience with databases such as Postgres and ClickHouse.
- Have experience integrating with external APIs.
- Be able to break defined epics into actionable milestones and stories.
- Have experience working in Agile environments, pairing, and mentoring others.
- Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve velocity and code quality.
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or have equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Own projects from engineering design through coding, testing, and rollout.
- Work across frontend, backend, database, and infrastructure to deliver functional, secure, and scalable solutions.
- Break complex work into actionable milestones and stories for the team.
- Maintain code quality, scalability, and maintainability through automated testing, code reviews, and pairing.
- Propose team-level technical solutions and contribute to new innovations.
- Mentor, coach, and provide actionable feedback to teammates.
