Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Have 3–5+ years of accounting experience with hands-on full-cycle accounting responsibilities.
- Have strong experience with accounts payable (AP).
- Have strong experience with cash postings.
- Have strong experience preparing payroll journal entries.
- Have strong experience with accruals and account reconciliations.
- Have experience reviewing financial statements.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Have Sage Intacct experience; this is a strict requirement.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
- Be interested in using AI and automation to improve efficiency and accounting processes.
Responsibilities
- Perform full-cycle accounting activities across multiple entities.
- Manage accounts payable posting and cash postings.
- Prepare and post payroll journal entries.
- Record and maintain accruals.
- Complete account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Review financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows through automation and AI-driven solutions.
