Requirements
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license strongly preferred.
- Experience in cost analysis for manufacturing or retail companies.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and complex lookups (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP/INDEXMATCH).
- Experience with Power Query and working with large datasets.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and analyze cost data, ensuring accurate allocation of labor, materials, and overhead.
- Perform account reconciliations on all variance accounts.
- Monitor inventory accuracy including packaging.
- Prepare and analyze monthly cost reports, cost forecasts, budgets, and conduct cost audits.
- Maintain financial records and collaborate with supply chain, operations, and accounting departments.
- Support ERP system implementation and integration to enhance data accuracy.
- Analyze COGS by reviewing inventory movements and standard vs. actual costs.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
