Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5–7+ years of technology project management experience; candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience managing technology and/or cloud-related projects and delivering complex, full-lifecycle technology projects.
- Ability to manage schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, scope, resources, and project delivery.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency with project and collaboration tools such as MS Project, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Excel.
- Experience working within matrixed organizations involving multiple business and technology teams.
- Financial services experience, particularly in banking, payments, capital markets, or related environments, is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and cloud transformation initiatives is preferred; understanding of DevOps and continuous testing concepts is advantageous.
- PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or similar project management or Agile certification is preferred.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, time-management, written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project plans covering schedules, milestones, scope, resources, dependencies, and critical-path activities.
- Lead technology projects through planning, implementation, testing, release, and final delivery.
- Track and manage project risks, issues, actions, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate business and technology resources across multiple teams in a matrixed organization.
- Identify cross-project dependencies and develop mitigation plans.
- Manage project status, metrics, change control, quality assurance, testing coordination, and implementation activities.
- Facilitate project meetings and communicate progress, risks, issues, decisions, and priorities to stakeholders and leadership.
- Adapt project plans and priorities as business and technology requirements change.
- Coordinate cloud and other technology initiatives with technical teams.
