Requirements
- Have 5+ years of relevant experience in an Enterprise Security role with demonstrated impact.
- Have hands-on experience operating and maintaining endpoint security and visibility tools at enterprise scale, such as CrowdStrike or osquery.
- Have exposure to at least one additional enterprise security tool stack, such as SASE, zero trust systems, email security, DLP, or IAM.
- Bring an automation mindset and experience scripting and debugging code with Python, with or without AI assistance.
- Have experience using SOAR platforms.
- Be familiar with common security challenges and able to independently evaluate their severity and business impact.
- Have a track record of delivering impactful work across multiple quarters and collaborating effectively across teams.
- Ideally, bring breadth across endpoint security, including layered EDR controls, passive telemetry, threat intelligence integrations, and cloud and containerized environments.
- Ideally, have built security programs using SaaS security platforms such as CrowdStrike, Mimecast Incydr, and Splunk.
- Ideally, have experience with Terraform infrastructure-as-code deployments and AI-driven automations.
Responsibilities
- Co-own day-to-day operation, triage, and tuning of the endpoint security environment by responding to escalations, investigating anomalies, and resolving issues.
- Improve endpoint visibility tools and workflows with Security Operations, using real usage patterns and incident learnings.
- Write clear, concise documentation and runbooks for enterprise security workflows.
- Collaborate with Engineering, IT, and Security partners on implementation of security tools and policies.
- Assist Security Operations with investigations as a technical subject matter expert.
- Partner with engineering teams to triage and support remediation of vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
- Mentor Security team engineers to grow their domain knowledge, tool-specific skills, and communication abilities.
