Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in operations, licensing, compliance, or a similar role.
- At least 1 year of experience managing a team.
- Strong project management and workflow optimization skills.
- Experience identifying inefficient processes and implementing automation or tools to streamline them.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a personable, professional style suited to working with Licensing Directors and other US-based partners.
- Familiarity with US university and Greek life culture, or a strong willingness to get up to speed on it.
- An analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Comfort navigating multiple tools and systems, including Gmail, Google Sheets, and Airtable.
- Licensing platform experience with tools such as Affinity, DLH, or BrandComply is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Licensing team, owning daily operations and long-term improvements.
- Oversee and improve trademark checks, design approvals, licensing portal submissions, and royalty reporting and tracking.
- Manage relationships and communication with university and Greek licensors.
- Identify and pursue licensing opportunities with partner schools and organizations.
- Roll out AI-powered tools for faster, more accurate licensing checks.
- Automate and scale RFP submissions to acquire new licenses.
- Streamline royalty report generation.
- Publish and maintain licensing guidelines and SOPs.
- Collaborate with Tech, Product, Sales, and Design to build and adopt initiatives.
- Coach and support the team through documentation, clear SOPs, and direct feedback.
