Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in project management, client service delivery, professional services coordination, or a comparable environment.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, establish timelines, and track deliverables.
- Experience coordinating stakeholders, identifying risks, and resolving issues to keep projects moving forward.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including managing client and cross-functional relationships.
- Ability to facilitate structured meetings, document decisions, and communicate project scope and responsibilities clearly.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management abilities, with attention to detail, documentation, follow-through, and recordkeeping.
- Comfort using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and enterprise AI applications for summarization, drafting, organization, and workflow support.
- Willingness to provide constructive feedback, identify operational improvements, and participate in testing and validation of tools and processes.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities, escalations, and client expectations professionally.
Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, monitor, and close assigned multi-jurisdiction client projects, tracking milestones and service-level performance.
- Manage client relationships and project governance through regular communications, structured meetings, documented follow-ups, and clear expectations.
- Maintain project scope and coordinate timely client inputs, including transactional data, taxability confirmations, and reviews.
- Maintain project documentation, task updates, risk logs, project statuses, and customer communications across Salesforce, Certinia, Google Drive, and other approved systems.
- Coordinate with Data Consultants, Tax Analysts, State Tax Authorities, Customer Account Managers, Sales, and other stakeholders to resolve escalations and delivery obstacles.
- Use approved AI and productivity tools to draft client communications, summarize meetings, organize action items, and consolidate project status information.
- Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend automation, macros, tools, or process improvements.
- Support user acceptance testing, validation, and feedback for new or updated operational tools and workflows.
- Improve and document standard operating procedures, kickoff materials, and status reporting frameworks.
