Requirements

  • Have 2+ years of sales experience selling to mid-market and/or enterprise customers.
  • Demonstrate a track record of achieving sales results.
  • Understand B2B technology sales processes, including opportunity qualification, objection handling, and closing.
  • Bring strong prospecting, account management, pipeline development, and forecasting skills.
  • Be able to structure, control, and lead customer and prospect conversations effectively.
  • Have experience working with technical products or a strong aptitude for learning complex technical concepts quickly.
  • Experience selling technical products to developer, engineering, or other technical audiences is preferred.
  • Experience with open-source software business models is preferred but not required.
  • Sales training and Salesforce experience are a plus.
  • A four-year college degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Be able to work independently, adapt quickly, and maintain consistent performance in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

  • Generate qualified sales opportunities for commercial technology products through prospecting and inbound follow-up.
  • Meet with existing customers to identify account expansion opportunities for additional products and services.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for qualified opportunities and closed business.
  • Forecast pipeline and business performance on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Drive adoption across the existing customer and user base and engage customers showing interest in commercial offerings.
  • Manage the full B2B sales process, including planning, discovery, qualification, objection handling, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build targeted prospecting lists, identify decision-makers, and engage accounts through calls, email, social media, and other channels.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, account information, sales activity, and pipeline hygiene.
  • Share customer feedback with cross-functional teams to inform product roadmap insights and marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to team development, knowledge sharing, and peer mentoring.
