Job Details

Have 4+ years of software development experience.
Have professional experience developing in Java.
Have experience with AWS.
Have experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
Have experience with big data pipelines such as Kaka and/or Kinesis.
Have experience defining non-functional requirements, measuring SLOs, and balancing technical foundations with product timelines.
Be able to quickly learn the platform technology stack, which uses Java deployed on AWS.
Preferred: experience building multi-tenant SaaS systems for enterprise customers.
Preferred: experience deploying services with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS SAM, CloudFormation, or CDK.
Preferred: experience with observability technologies such as Grafana and AWS CloudTrail.
Preferred: working knowledge of data lakes, including Snowflake or Databrics.
Preferred: some experience with LLMs, standard patterns such as Agents, RAG, and Tools, and popular frameworks.
Preferred: knowledge of Scala or Python.

Design and build the next generation of Anvilogic products.
Design, build, and operate platform services written in Java and running on AWS.
Build systems that authenticate users, securely connect to customer data stores, and manage product groups, roles, and permissions.
Debug and resolve critical production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.
Work with product management to define non-functional requirements and implement them in services.
Collaborate with company stakeholders to build large-scale features and improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
Share platform and security best practices through mentorship, documentation, and brown bag sessions.
