Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years focused on data-intensive applications or database-adjacent functionality.
- Advanced proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python; advanced expertise in Go, Java, or C++.
- Expertise with relational databases (SQL, indexing, transactions, schema design).
- Experience with REST and/or gRPC API design.
- Knowledge of application security fundamentals (RBAC, authentication, multi-tenant isolation).
- Experience building or integrating vector databases, embedding pipelines, or RAG systems.
- Prior experience with AI agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph).
- Understanding of observability, structured logging, and distributed tracing.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and operate application layers, API workflows, and cloud-native services.
- Take end-to-end ownership of significant production features, from design through deployment.
- Build and manage multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) using Terraform.
- Develop containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Design and implement REST and gRPC APIs for external and internal consumers.
- Apply relational database expertise including SQL development, indexing, and schema design.
- Develop and integrate AI application capabilities like vector databases and RAG systems.
