Requirements
- Have 7+ years of marketing experience in theme parks, location-based entertainment, experiential or event marketing, live entertainment, or destination marketing.
- Bring direct experience working at or alongside experience operators, IP holders, theme park organizations, location-based entertainment companies, traveling exhibitions, large-scale live events, or experiential agencies.
- Have experience managing partnerships with operators, venues, production companies, and agencies while balancing brand integrity and commercial objectives.
- Understand place-based and experiential marketing, including opening campaigns, attendance marketing, seasonal programs, and on-site guest experience marketing.
- Have experience developing and executing integrated marketing programs across owned, earned, paid, partner, retail, and on-site channels.
- Demonstrate project management skills and the ability to manage concurrent programs, scope, timelines, budgets, venues, and external partners.
- Have cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills in matrixed organizations and external partner environments.
- Have business communication, writing, and relationship-building skills.
- Have a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and activate brand marketing programs for theme park lands and attractions, location-based experiences, traveling exhibitions, fan events, and brand activations.
- Partner with operators, production companies, venues, and creative agencies on opening, ongoing, and seasonal campaigns.
- Own brand marketing from strategy and positioning through go-to-market planning and in-market execution.
- Translate franchise and business priorities into marketing briefs, messaging frameworks, creative direction, and integrated campaigns.
- Build frameworks, toolkits, and operating models to scale programs across partners, venues, regions, and franchise moments.
- Identify opportunities for fan events, conventions, pop-ups, and other experiential programs.
- Develop integrated communications plans across owned, earned, paid, partner, retail, and on-site channels.
- Manage program scopes, timelines, budgets, contracts, approvals, creative assets, on-site execution, invoicing, and reporting.
- Monitor attendance, audience growth, brand impact, and earned reach, and use insights to improve programs.
