Job Details

Have 7+ years of professional software development experience, including substantial full-stack responsibility.
Have strong, recent experience developing production applications with React and TypeScript.
Have strong backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
Have experience designing REST APIs, service layers, and maintainable data-access components.
Have solid SQL and relational database expertise, including query development, optimization, and safe parameterization.
Have hands-on experience modernizing, re-platforming, or incrementally replacing functionality in a live production system.
Understand migration approaches that minimize downtime, regressions, and user disruption.
Have strong automated-testing practices across unit and integration levels.
Have experience with Git-based development, pull requests, peer review, and CI/CD workflows.
Have practical experience using AI coding assistants and assessing generated code for accuracy, security, and maintainability.
Be able to document technical requirements, implementation plans, and architectural decisions clearly.
Demonstrate ownership from discovery and design through deployment and production verification.

Design and develop full-stack functionality using React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
Shape the target architecture, development conventions, testing strategy, and delivery practices.
Transition complex business workflows from the legacy application to the modern stack in independently testable and deployable increments.
Build REST APIs, service-layer components, and data-access functionality.
Analyze legacy code and workflows to preserve business rules, system behavior, and data relationships.
Write and optimize secure, parameterized SQL queries for transactional workflows.
Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to confirm behavioral consistency and prevent regressions.
Apply migration safeguards such as staged releases, feature controls, monitoring, and rollback planning.
Investigate and resolve implementation, deployment, and production-validation issues.
Document technical decisions and collaborate through design discussions and code reviews.
