Requirements
- Hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification or equivalent, such as CPA or ACCA.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in financial analysis, with a strong focus on IFRS 9 implementation.
- Have hands-on experience implementing IFRS 9.
- Have experience in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Have advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Have experience in a senior financial analyst role within a multinational or large corporation.
- Be familiar with ERP systems, particularly SAP or Oracle.
- Have knowledge of other IFRS standards and their application.
- Be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead IFRS 9 implementation and ongoing compliance.
- Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for business decisions.
- Develop and maintain financial models for business initiatives and scenarios.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts and identify areas for improvement.
- Support annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
- Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts.
