Requirements
- Have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance or three to five years of equivalent experience in a dynamic environment in workforce benefits and/or medical insurance.
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Access.
- Bring project management skills.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing, with a focus on customer service and interpersonal relationships.
- Demonstrate strong organization, planning, and prioritization.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be able to learn and apply complex rules and guides.
- Manage multiple tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end implementation of small-group employee benefit plans.
- Support all phases of the Dearborn-to-Symetra migration project.
- Coordinate implementation activities with Underwriting, Contracts, Billing, Claims, Compliance, IT, and Customer Service.
- Serve as the primary operational contact for customers, brokers, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor implementation timelines and ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Research, resolve, and escalate implementation issues.
- Review contracts and plan documents for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate eligibility file setup and testing with customers and IT partners.
- Prepare onboarding materials, implementation documentation, customer communications, and project status updates.
