Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in equipment finance or a similar commercial finance environment.
- Verifiable production history in equipment finance originations.
- Strong understanding of equipment finance products, pricing, and transaction structures.
- Foundational knowledge of credit, financial statements, and transaction risk assessment.
- Ability to build a pipeline through cold calling, referrals, networking, and relationship development.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with SuperTRUMP, TValue, CRM platforms, or related tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business through direct calling, networking, and referrals.
- Build and maintain relationships with middle-market clients and centers of influence.
- Develop internal partnerships to uncover financing opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Originate equipment finance transactions across industries and asset classes.
- Evaluate transaction opportunities, including client financial position, structure, and overall fit.
- Partner with credit, documentation, and operations teams on service and risk management.
- Manage and grow an active pipeline to meet annual production and portfolio growth goals.
- Monitor market conditions, competitive dynamics, and changes in client credit quality.
- Resolve transaction, client service, and deal execution issues.
