Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Five years of related experience, preferably in testing and business requirements gathering.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, TestComplete, Katalon, or similar tools.
- Experience with BDD tools or frameworks such as Cucumber, ReqNRoll, Behave, or Gherkin-based testing.
- Experience in business analysis, quality assurance, systems analysis, software testing, or related technology support.
- Experience with requirements gathering, test planning, test case development, defect tracking, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience with Student Information Systems, higher education enterprise systems, or higher education business processes is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, is preferred.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQL Server Reporting Services is preferred.
- Experience with cross-browser testing tools or accessibility testing tools and standards is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements through interviews with sponsors and users, and analyze business problems and potential solutions.
- Develop business requirements, functional specifications, functional prototypes, test strategies, and test plans.
- Coordinate integrated testing, data validation sessions, and testing activities with stakeholders, developers, project managers, and subject matter experts.
- Create, maintain, and execute manual and automated test scripts and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, user acceptance, cross-browser, accessibility, and BDD-based testing.
- Validate data and troubleshoot issues using SQL Server, and create reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Document, track, and validate defects using tools such as JIRA, and report test results and metrics.
- Maintain requirements, testing, and process documentation in Confluence or similar tools.
- Support system implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and configuration changes, and recommend improvements to QA processes and automation coverage.
- Communicate and collaborate with data analysts, developers, architects, project teams, and business stakeholders.
