Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of accounting experience, including general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Experience supporting month-end close processes.
- Experience working within an ERP or accounting system.
- Public accounting experience is preferred.
- CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare technology, SaaS, or subscription-based organizations is preferred.
- Experience supporting audits and compliance initiatives is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Assist with financial statement preparation and management reporting.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
- Analyze financial data, research variances, and identify trends.
- Support external audits and prepare audit schedules.
- Assist with fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Partner with teams across the organization to support accurate financial reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements and other projects as assigned
