Requirements
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of R&D experience in medical imaging, computer vision, or machine learning.
- Proven track record of developing AI solutions.
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
- Advanced knowledge of Python and C++ for implementing AI solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale data processing and complex datasets.
- Solid understanding of AI model validation techniques and healthcare regulatory requirements like FDA 510(k).
- Strong publication history in top-tier conferences and journals.
- Ability to generate patentable ideas and contribute to intellectual property development.
- Experience with medical imaging datasets such as DICOM, mammography, CT, or MRI is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize deep learning algorithms to advance breast cancer detection and imaging tools.
- Conduct research to identify new methodologies and techniques in AI and machine learning for medical image analysis.
- Collaborate with Product Management to identify innovation areas and contribute to strategic roadmaps.
- Perform data preprocessing, annotation, and enhancement on large medical datasets.
- Partner with software engineers, radiologists, and clinical teams to integrate and evaluate AI solutions.
- Lead testing and validation of models to ensure they meet regulatory standards such as FDA clearance.
- Author white papers and technical documentation to describe the impact and functionality of AI innovations.
- Provide mentorship to junior researchers and cross-functional team members.
