Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or healthcare field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience in healthcare or business, with significant experience in IT or technology deployment.
- 2+ years of previous work experience in project support.
- Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or in-progress status.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software packages.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented collaborative environment.
- Ability to adapt to changes in environment and priorities.
- Ability to elicit cooperation from senior management and other departments.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage delivery of projects from beginning to end, including creation of the Project Charter and Project Plan, leading team calls, and tracking milestones.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Identify and resolve issues, manage project dependencies, and define critical paths.
- Plan and schedule project timelines using appropriate project management tools.
- Develop progress reports, requirements documentation, and project presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope and devise contingency plans for potential crises.
- Conduct project postmortems to identify successes and areas for improvement.
