Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
- Demonstrated experience architecting enterprise applications across at least two major cloud platforms.
- Strong expertise in integration patterns, API design, and event-driven architectures.
- Deep familiarity with at least one major enterprise platform such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Workday.
- Working knowledge of identity, security, and data governance frameworks at enterprise scale.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership.
- Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction.
- Strong understanding of cost optimization, scalability, and resilience trade-offs.
- Certifications such as TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise applications covering application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure layers.
- Partner with business stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements and translate them into reference architectures.
- Lead architecture review boards, evaluating designs against enterprise standards, security policies, and roadmap considerations.
- Design integration strategies across SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid landscapes, leveraging API gateways and event streaming.
- Establish architecture principles, technology selection guidelines, and reusable patterns for delivery teams.
- Collaborate with security architects to embed identity, data protection, and compliance controls into designs.
- Produce high-quality architecture artifacts including diagrams, component models, and decision records.
- Guide cloud migration and modernization initiatives focusing on cost, performance, and resilience.
- Support proof-of-concept development and provide technical leadership to engineering teams.
