Requirements
- 7-15 years of total engineering experience.
- 5+ years as an individual contributor and demonstrated people management experience.
- Proven ability to lead a team while maintaining 20-30% hands-on coding involvement.
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Python.
- Experience with Kotlin or Go (preferred).
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building and shipping customer-facing products in production environments.
- Early-stage startup experience, with comfort operating in fast-moving, resource-constrained settings.
- Consistent tenure averaging 3+ years per role.
- Comfort integrating AI tooling (such as Claude, Cursor, or similar) into day-to-day development workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and support the career development of a team of 3-7 software engineers.
- Partner with product and cross-functional teams to define and execute the technical roadmap.
- Stay hands-on, dedicating 20-30% of your time to coding, code reviews, and architectural design.
- Guide critical architectural decisions to ensure systems are scalable, performant, and maintainable.
- Champion high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and engineering excellence.
- Travel to customer sites approximately 10% of the time.
