Requirements
- Background as an analyst at a crypto research firm or in a data/research role at a perps exchange or prediction market.
- Deep understanding of prediction market and perpetual futures market structure.
- Active participation in trader communities with ability to monitor X, Discord, and Telegram.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools including SQL and Python.
- Experience using data platforms such as Dune Analytics or similar tools.
- Strong writing skills with a proven track record of research that informs decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and own a research agenda.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving scope.
Responsibilities
- Track news, launches, and structural shifts across prediction markets and perpetual futures.
- Monitor trader conversations on X, Discord, and Telegram to identify sentiment shifts and emerging trends.
- Analyze market metrics such as volumes, open interest, and funding rates across major venues.
- Map user needs and identify gaps in existing solutions for prediction and perps protocols.
- Develop dashboards and datasets to track market performance.
- Translate research findings into actionable product ideas and business opportunities.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business development to prioritize and test initiatives.
- Produce clear research reports for internal and external stakeholders.
