Requirements
- 6–8+ years of experience building and shipping production backend systems.
- Experience leading the technical direction of a team or workstream.
- Strong backend engineering fundamentals including APIs, data modeling, and databases.
- Extensive experience with distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures such as queues, streams, and async processing.
- Strong testing, debugging, and production-support practices.
- Experience with ecommerce order management, inventory, warehouse, or logistics systems.
- Ability to influence and align engineers without formal authority.
- Clear communication skills in async, distributed team settings.
Responsibilities
- Design and build a scalable, multi-tenant 3PL platform for external client onboarding.
- Develop reliable core systems for inventory management, order routing, and warehouse operations.
- Create fast, low-friction onboarding processes using configurable, reusable platform components.
- Ensure accurate, real-time inventory and order visibility for internal teams and external clients.
- Build observable, self-healing fulfillment pipelines with clear SLAs.
- Reduce manual intervention in exception handling using AI-driven automation.
- Provide clear architectural direction as the 3PL platform scales.
