Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Hands-on experience with cloud computing providers, specifically AWS.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS, GKE) or similar container orchestration platforms.
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting or coding with at least one language such as Bash or Python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline management tools like Github, CircleCI, or Argo Workflows.
- Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization technologies.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Opensearch, or Sentry.
- Ability to operate with minimal supervision and take full ownership of system components.
- Experience supporting platform operations in on-call rotations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and scale web applications and data platforms.
- Build tools to implement DevOps and security best practices.
- Create reusable and immutable infrastructure with Terraform.
- Improve infrastructure performance through monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Develop authentication and gateway solutions for infrastructure and applications.
- Investigate application issues and advise teams on design and deployment choices.
- Participate in on-call rotations, post-mortems, and root cause analysis.
