Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- At least 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, management, or program leadership.
- At least 3 years of experience managing multi-site healthcare operations, government healthcare contracts, or detention healthcare programs.
- Deep knowledge of NDS, PBNDS, federal detention healthcare requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing operational performance, staffing, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and healthcare reporting platforms.
- Ability to travel extensively, potentially up to 75%.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government clearances and facility credentials.
- Proficiency in English.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational oversight and program management support for multiple healthcare programs across detention facilities nationwide.
- Serve as the corporate point of contact for assigned facilities, supporting medical operations, program performance, operational challenges, and contract execution.
- Monitor healthcare programs for compliance with contractual requirements, federal regulations, National Detention Standards (NDS), and Performance-Based National Detention Standards (PBNDS).
- Track performance metrics, quality indicators, utilization trends, and healthcare outcomes to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Coordinate corrective action plans following government inspections, audits, and accreditation reviews.
- Support operational readiness, program startups, contract transitions, and facility expansions.
- Collaborate with recruitment and facility leadership on workforce planning, hiring, and retention strategies.
- Prepare executive briefings, operational reports, and performance dashboards for leadership and government stakeholders.
