Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Health Information Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- At least 5 years of experience in healthcare quality management, accreditation, compliance, performance improvement, or auditing.
- At least 3 years of experience in correctional/detention healthcare, hospital operations, or government healthcare programs.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare quality assurance, performance improvement, patient safety, and risk management.
- Working knowledge of NDS, PBNDS, and healthcare accreditation standards (e.g., ACA, NCCHC, Joint Commission).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and healthcare reporting systems.
- Proven ability to collect, interpret, and present healthcare quality data.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 75%.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- RN license or CPHQ certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, coordinate, and oversee enterprise-wide healthcare quality assurance and performance improvement programs.
- Monitor healthcare operations for compliance with NDS, PBNDS, regulations, accreditation standards, and contractual requirements.
- Conduct routine audits, clinical chart reviews, site evaluations, and quality monitoring activities across multiple sites.
- Analyze clinical outcomes, performance indicators, incident reports, and mortality data to identify trends and risks.
- Develop and monitor corrective action plans resulting from audits, inspections, and surveys.
- Lead and coordinate preparation for American Correctional Association (ACA) accreditation and reaccreditation.
