Requirements
- 2+ years of accounting or related experience in a rigorous, fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles and procedures.
- Understanding of end-to-end business processes.
- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize competing responsibilities.
- Demonstrated integrity, ownership, and accountability.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and planning skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
- Ability to independently manage routine assignments and follow established procedures with minimal direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Support billing and revenue-related activities in accordance with company policies and GAAP requirements.
- Review contracts for new business and process associated revenue and invoices.
- Process churn and contraction requests for customers.
- Monitor customer aging and support collection activities, including outreach and dispute resolution.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to resolve contract, billing, and account issues.
- Ensure internal accounting policies and procedures are documented and enforced.
- Prepare and maintain AR and revenue-related account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end close activities related to billing, deferred revenue, and AR.
- Provide supporting documentation for internal or external audits.
- Evaluate and improve billing process efficiency and productivity.
