Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- 5+ years of experience with NodeJS server-side development
- 2+ years' experience with a modern frontend framework (e.g. React)
- Experience with Typescript
- Experience with database technologies (ideally NoSql DBs and MongoDB)
- Experience (professional or personal) with using and integrating the latest AI coding technologies: e.g. LLMs, Model Context Protocol, Claude Code, Github Copilot
- Strong problem-solving ability and experience working within complex systems and large code bases
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work in a self-driven way
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, high-performance solutions using JavaScript / TypeScript
- Lead technical decisions in Node.js backend development and modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React)
- Identify and resolve performance, scalability, reliability, and security issues across complex systems
- Participate in and drive code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical improvements
- Improve system observability, monitoring, logging, and error handling
- Ensure high code quality through testing, documentation, and CI/CD practices
