Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant engineering experience at product-driven companies.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and React.
- Proficiency in a backend language (Go preferred).
- Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
- Practical experience working with AI-coding tools as part of the daily workflow.
- Proven track record of setting technical direction across multiple teams.
- Experience solving complex scaling or architecture problems end-to-end.
- Ability to influence outcomes through collaboration rather than just authority.
- Strong pragmatism in balancing technical quality with business requirements.
- Experience with Kubernetes and GCP is preferred.
- Background in cybersecurity or high-throughput data systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ship features within a squad to ensure technical direction is grounded in code.
- Set cross-team technical direction and own architecture decisions spanning squads.
- Lead high-throughput data scaling problems and system performance optimization.
- Raise engineering standards across the organization through reviews, mentoring, and best practices.
- Influence product roadmap and strategy in collaboration with engineering and product leadership.
