Requirements
- 5+ years as a production Oracle Database Administrator on a currently supported release.
- Advanced SQL and PL/SQL proficiency.
- Working knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB SQL.
- Experience with Oracle backup and recovery using RMAN.
- Performance tuning expertise using AWR and ASH.
- Hands-on data migration experience (mapping, scripting, reconciliation).
- Oracle Database STIG implementation in a DoD Risk Management Framework environment.
- Experience on at least two large-scale database administration projects.
- Active Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and tune Oracle database instances supporting IDEAS.
- Define and maintain database security standards and manage access.
- Lead troubleshooting of database-related outages and manage disaster recovery services.
- Analyze database processes to provide recommendations for performance improvements.
- Test Oracle security patches, upgrades, and perform STIG checklist reviews.
- Create and deploy database scripts for system releases.
- Support IDEAS NG data design and data migration mapping from legacy systems.
- Support data integration between IDEAS and connected systems.
