- Proven hands-on support experience with production systems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Experience with PostgreSQL (nice to have).
- Experience with Rivery, Snowflake, or other BI tools (nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Monitor production performance and capacity, providing recommendations to prevent outages.
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize slow queries and resolve production issues.
- Create and maintain comprehensive database documentation, including diagrams, standards, and best practices.
- Utilize AWS tools to manage database backups, security, compliance, and disaster recovery.
- Manage and maintain primary MySQL databases containing millions of records.
