Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a solar technician, installer, OEM field service engineer, or similar role.
- At least 2 years of experience in Commercial Solar.
- Hands-on experience with 1000V+ DC systems, 3-phase AC interconnections, and advanced system diagnostics for projects exceeding 500kW.
- 4+ years of professional experience in the solar energy industry or equivalent.
- Familiarity with energy storage technologies.
- Experience with solar monitoring DAS platforms.
- Ability to interpret system design drawings.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk).
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned clients in a portfolio of about 250-350 MW of distributed solar assets.
- Review service visit reports and participate in weekly client check-in calls to provide technical expertise.
- Investigate issues using site monitoring platforms and initiate performance improvements.
- Manage and oversee tickets for planned and unplanned service activities.
- Coordinate and manage service activities with field service partners and support onsite technicians.
- Collaborate with external engineering firms for retrofits, repowering, and redesigns.
- Own the technical aspect of the Commercial BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) program, including sales support and operational implementation.
