Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (Associate’s Degree = 2 years; Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years).
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to perform data collection and workflow observation.
- Proficiency in documentation including workflows, gap analysis, and test plans.
- Experience with system build and testing within a change management framework.
- Understanding of information security best practices.
- Ability to support system upgrades, patches, and monitoring.
- Preferred: Experience supporting Medicare, Medicaid, and other government-sponsored healthcare programs.
- Preferred: Proven ability to perform business and technical analysis in a regulated healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of assigned application(s).
- Perform data collection through discussions, workflow observations, and document review.
- Produce documentation including workflows, gap analysis, design specifications, and test plans.
- Perform unit and scenario-based application testing.
- Complete system build and documentation in accordance with department guidelines.
- Prepare training material and conduct virtual or in-person training classes.
- Participate in team on-call rotation to provide 24x7x365 support.
- Provide remote and/or on-site support to end-users.
